The Apothecary is an amazing book about a girl named Janie and her friend named Benjamin. Benjamin's father is an apothecary and he works down the street at a drug store. Really he is a scientist and he has this special book called the Pharmocopoiea which holds different spells and elixers. What the apothecary is trying to do is stop the Soviets' nuclear bomb and save everyone from a nuclear disaster. Filled with many twists and turns, The Apothecary is definately one you don't want to miss out on. I cannot reccomend it enough!!!!!!! You have to read it. It will be the best book you have ever read in your life!!!!!!!!!!!
